Completing the L2APP was interesting, engaging and fun. It taught me how important children’s play really is. I thoroughly enjoyed working as a Summer Playworker as I had an amazing team who made me feel welcome from the start. The children we met were incredible and they really looked forward to our play sessions each week. Working as a playworker has given me a new perspective as I now step back and give children the choice and freedom to play without interruption.
Holiday play work opportunities
During school holidays we are always looking for temporary playworkers, to support our holiday play schemes. Holiday playworkers also occasionally support our after-school play sessions during term time.
Holiday play schemes are a great way of trying out play work as a profession.
Full play work training will be provided with an accredited play work training provider.
Some of our holiday playworkers come back every holiday as they love play so much!
